"Riding is the best meditation. It's a chance to slow down and witness the details of the city. Cycling, I take spontaneous detours and explore neighborhoods I've rarely seen. I also listen to e-audiobooks, so I get a lot of "reading" done on my bike. It turns commuting into an activity—on the way to work I wake up by climbing a bunch of hills, and on the way home I get to coast back down them again!" —Meghan, Librarian 🚲 #lapl #BikeLA #BikeWeekLA #ArlingtonHeights #WashingtonIrvingLibrary #bikeweek2015 #bikeweek15 #laplbikes A photo posted by Los Angeles Public Library (@losangeleslibrary) on May 15, 2015 at 4:22pm PDT
