View this post on Instagram Alongside the installation of cartons at Cairns Art Gallery are a couple of posters, one with cartons from the Mareeba Shire and Atherton Tablelands, the other of cartons from the Cassowary Coast, the former arranged by longitudes east to west, the latter arranged by latitudes north to south. Both posters show cartons flattened, so that all sides are visible. Together they are intended to be representation of cartons from Far North Queensland (FNQ), but admittedly there are quite a few out there in the wild that are not yet part of the collection.
